Congratulations to Anne Lucas, Managing Attorney of the Volunteer Lawyer Project, who was honored recently by Su Casa Hispanic Center with the 2017 “Immigrants Advocate Award”. Anne was recognized for her dedication to providing legal representation for immigrants in our community. She’s been an active collaborator with Su Casa and other legal service providers who are organizing pro bono representation for recently arrived immigrants. “I’m so proud to receive this award from Su Casa,” she stated, “but I truly believe the entire Legal Aid Immigration Team deserves this award. We have worked hard to solve an assortment of immigration related issues to help our clients.”
