Attorney helps gravely ill client achieve peace of mind

Mr. T. was a 35 year old man who suffered from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s Disease).  He had a wife and one child and wanted to provide for them upon his death, but was unable to travel to meet an attorney.  Volunteer attorney Bradford Weber went to the nursing home where Mr. T resided, and prepared a will, living will and medical power of attorney.  As a result of Mr. Weber’s efforts, Mr. T. was able to obtain peace of mind, and also plan for his end-of life care.
