Please Support The Volunteer Lawyers for the Poor Foundation
Thank you for considering a donation to The Volunteer Lawyers for the Poor Foundation. We help people who are economically challenged resolve major life obstacles that require legal assistance. Pro Bono lawyers handle approximately 1,500 cases a year.
But our resources are limited. Cases cost money, and many of our clients live so near the poverty level that they struggle every month just to pay for food and shelter. VLP pays myriad costs. Examples include filing fees when necessary, transcripts, depositions, interpreter services for an increasing number of non-English speaking clients, and a small fee to attorneys who take more than two case referrals from the VLP in a given year. We depend on your financial support to pay these expenses.
You can dedicate your gift in honor or in memory of an individual if you wish, and we will recognize that gift in our Annual report. The VLP Foundation is a 501(c) 3 so all contributions are tax deductible.
Won’t you help us make the system work for everyone by a making a contribution today?
If you would prefer to mail us a check, please make it payable to The Volunteer Lawyers for the Poor Foundation. Our address is: 215 E. Ninth Street, Suite 200, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202.
